Public Health and Family Welfare Department of the Government of Telangana in association with Vera Smart Healthcare are undertaking fully automated Identification, Live surveillance, Monitoring, Tracking and Tracing of COVID-19 positives and suspects. With technology being roped in for every aspect of this war against virus, there is a substantial reduction in physical contact, human errors and fraudulent data.
The very first Monitoring App was developed in record time to deal with the pandemic, analytics of which were directly transmitted to the stakeholders at the helm who enforced restrictions well in advance to contain the spread. Vera also developed the Tracker App for the Govt of Telangana which tracks the real time location and symptoms of the COVID-19 positive or suspect, hourly. Data updated by the frontline ASHA ANM workers provide a greater insight to the authorities to impose or lift alerts in different zones.
COVID-19 Monitoring App
COVID-19 Monitoring System: an App developed and deployed for the Health Department by Vera Healthcare in just three days, erases human errors, provides accurate information and is used by the front line ASHA ANM workers. With this system, every worker screen around 100 houses per day and records data digitally. The quick turnaround, and the innovative psyche, has initiated improved surveillance, tracking – effective monitoring, and supervision.
Engaging the suspect by encouraging a self-diagnosis is the prologue for the mega strategy to contain the spread of COVID-19. A simple questionnaire which is sent as a link in an SMS is the base for building a data bank of evidences. Nearly 1500+ calls / SMS per day are sent to the patients/suspects to ensure the progress is fool proof. 24/7 on-call support is available for the patient/suspect. This information is the foreword for the authorities who swing into action – Containment strategies are planned.
COVID-19 Tracker App
COVID-19 Tracker System: updated hourly by the patient or suspect, nets the geo-location, symptoms, and real-time selfie. The user is geofenced to a location. The app is secured and enforces the authorized user to update the information and not a proxy. This app has dashboard controls with the Helm of authorities where a war-room is established to track and trace, symptoms, locations, and violations.
